I was raped by his father, who lives in DeSoto, TX, and he was married at the time. His wife has since divorced him. He is now sexually intimate with 2 other women at the same time, that are unaware of his ways, nor what to look for.

I feel so conflicted- I want my son to have a “healthy” relationship with his father, but not with who his father is now, as boys will emulate who their father is and how they value/devalue women. He has been to jail twice, and still can’t come to terms of him raping me affected me (and ultimately his own child). My son’s father, Bernard, is also a sex addict and needs to be SURROUNDED in prayer, as most of my Christian friends don’t believe he can ever be changed enough to have a healthy relationship with my son. Right now, his 2 daughters from his former marriage fear him, so I don’t want my son to be in harm’s way at this time, but I pray and believe that if God is a God of restoration, that Bernard Clemons will one day have the heart and mind of God, will never be the same as before, develop a healthy and admirable relationship with my son (and his other children), and become a powerful testimony for God. I ask for your prayers and words of wisdom/ encouragement at this time.
